Current Club Newsletter:

The November 4, 2008 meeting of the Pemigewassett Snowmobile Club was called to order by President Harold Wiggin. The Treasurer’s Report was read and approved. The Secretary’s Report was read and approved.

Trail Administrator Skip Bowie had nothing to report.Winter grant in aid request has been sent in. Summer grant in aid will be sent in requesting reimbursement as soon as the bridges are complete.

Trail Master Roger Bedard reported that the bridges that needed to be redone are just about finished, the one at Wellington, Goose Pond, behind Dan Schofield’s old house and behind Joyce Bucklin. The groomer is just about ready. The last filter just came in and will be all set to go. Fuel has been delivered for the groomer so we have a full tank ready for snow. Volunteers have also been working on getting the signs up. That also is just about done. Just a few more places to be checked.

New Business- Trail Master’s Meeting is Saturday, November 22 at Plymouth
State University. Cliff Davis and Ben Elder will be attending the Groomer Operator’s
seminar and Ernest Elliott and Roger Bedard will attend the break out sessions. Motion was made, seconded and so voted to sponsor a basketball team for the Tapply-Thompson Community Center in the amount of $100. Motion was also made, seconded and so voted to eliminate the $5 charge on our checking account statement by not requesting copies of the checks. Our club has been notified of the sudden resignation of the Grafton County Director Jeff Balch. Jeff did a great job and it will be a difficult job to replace him. Election of a new County Director will be at the November 19 meeting at 7:30 PM at the Baker River Valley Snowmobile Club, North Dorchester Road, Wentworth. All club members are welcome and urged to attend.

Next meeting Tuesday, December 2. 2008 at 7:30 PM at the Tapply-Thompson Community Center, 30 North Main Street, Bristol, NH. Voted to adjourn.
