The September 14, 2010 meeting of the Pemi Snowmobile Club was called to order by President Cliff Davis at 7:30 PM at the Tapply-Thompson Community Center.
The Secretary's report was read and approved. The Treasurer's report was read and approved.
Trail Administrator Skip Bowie reported that he had received the winter grant in aid forms. The winter hours for grooming will be no more than what we received last year, which was 215 hours. This has to be in by October 15.
The summer grant in aid work needs to be finished so that reimbursement requests can be sent in.
Trail Master Report – Russ reported for Harlie that work is progressing. The Goose Pond trail was finished today and workers are going out as they can to check trails for trees down and to trim if necessary. If you can spare a couple of hours, call Harlie at 744-8804.
Old Business – A new trail from Old Hill Village to the center of Bristol is in its final approval stages. This will come up the old railroad bed to the old depot. Several government agencies have been working on this project.
Nigel will write articles for the Sno Traveler. This is a good way to advertise our Club.
Nothing was done on pricing for hats.
Nigel has expressed an interest in learning to run the groomer and is willing to take the course this year.
Ski-Doo is doing a promotion again this year. Club members fill out the form, take it to a ski-doo dealer and the club gets $10.00 for each one turned in. This is a very easy way to make some money for your Club. The form is on our website or Donna can send you one.
There is a new membership application on line. Remember dues are due now. To receive the Sno Traveler they need to be paid by November 1.
It was discussed if we could run a Sno-Deo. It was determined that a Poker Run or a Club Ride would be more feasible for the size of our club. Anyone interested in helping, let an officer know.
